ISC Intelligence in Science is running a continuous internship programme in its Brussels office addressed to students with a strong interest in EU research and innovation policy and public affairs. The duration is 9 months and is a paid internship.
Requirements:
A university degree; political science, law or economics. Knowledge of the EU institutions and/or international relations is an asset. Excellent English writing/speaking.
Tasks: You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing legislation and initiatives taken at EU level as well as related EU programmes is areas such as Research and Innovation, Energy, Intellectual Property, Environment, Agriculture, Transport, etc. You will be involved in following up relevant European Parliament Committees, visiting European Commission officials, analyzing European calls for proposals and tenders plus writing policy reports on the developments in the above-mentioned areas.
Job Detail:
You will be responsible for creating fundraising strategies for an international development project, raising funds and identify new funding sources. The job will also require the preparation of grant proposals, management of a contact database and contacting and follow up with target organisations. You will also be in charge of organising and promoting funding related events.
Requirements:
Requirements: Educated to degree standard with experience in fundraising and excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills. Fluent English, written and spoken is compulsory. Knowledge of European Union affairs would be an asset.
